The Dragonfly

One of the many works of art donated to the university following the April 16, 2007 tragedy was a painting of 32 dragonflies by the artist, Rebecca Ronesi. In many cultures the dragonfly symbolizes renewal, maturity, change, and the temporal nature of all life. Ms. Ronesi created these images specifically for Virginia Tech’s Day of Remembrance.
